Dinner at Sunset Grill & Bar

Daddy & mummy brought me to the Sunset Grill & Bar today. It's situated deep deep within the Seletar Camp. Mummy saw Auntie MTDT's blog mentioning abt the restaurant that serves really good food, so she urge daddy to bring all of us there for dinner today.

We have no idea where the restaurant is & what's the address. But based on instinct, we managed to find our way there. We drove pass old colonel houses & abandon buildings. We could see the Singapore Flying Club, aeroplane runway & the hangers housing the planes but we didn't see any restaurant. Mummy called Auntie MTDT & she said the restaurant is at East Camp. Instead, we were at the opposite road, West Camp. So we made 1 BIG detour back to the East Camp. Actually it's not that far off the main road, just that we made a wrong turn to West Camp instead.

The restaurant was converted from a warehouse. And surrounding it is all the hangers & runway. Very laid-back. Nice country feeling... Mummy brought me to venture around the area while Daddy was waiting for the food to be served. There's a really big place to run around. We even saw a boy cycling & he kept pointing to me the 2 aeroplanes parked at the hanger. He's only 21mths old, so he can't really talk. But I understood what he meant. I'm so fanscinated by his tricycle that I kept wanting to walk over to touch it. But I guess the boy was afraid I'll spoil his tricycle so he kept going backwards. Haha.

Mummy & daddy ordered fish & chips & they tasted REALLY nice! Daddy said it's better than Fish & Co. & the price is slightly cheaper too cos they don't charge GST & service charge. In the end, I refused to eat the porridge mummy cooked for me, only wanting to eat the fries. Haha..I got my preference now, mummy.

I can WALK!!

I can finally WALK!

It all happened so fast. 3 weeks ago, mummy bought a pair of squeaky shoes for me cos she was worried why I haven't learn to walk when most of my baby friends are already walking.

At first, I was really fanscinated with the shoes. Why are there sounds coming out from the shoes? Then I started to stand unsupported..then stand longer.

Then mummy & daddy started bringing me to shopping mall & let me down to walk while they hold on to my hands. Hmm...must be the shopping trip that makes me wanna walk.

Last Saturday when we were at Auntie Ethel's plc to celebrate Mooncake Festival, I suddenly took 2 tiny steps. Mummy was SO EXCITED!! Keep clapping hands & shout hurray.

The next day at Auntie Lilian's place for gathering, I walked quite a distance on my own!

Then, it's really never-ending..I keep wanting mummy to hold my hands while I led her from room to room...to show her where I wanna go, what I wanna touch.

Water Play!

Mummy brought me to VivoCity Level 2 playground today. I had SO MUCH fun crawling & playing at the water fountain. Getting myself all wet!

Had some minor injuries too. Cos the flooring is those granite type & I attempt to crawl up the parapet wall & sliding down from it. Got some blisters on my foot & both of my knee caps. Even though it's bleeding, but I didn't mind at all. If mummy hadn't quickly carry me away, I would have continued playing.

My 1st Mooncake Festival Celebration

Mummy & daddy brought me to celebrate my 1st Mooncake Festival with all my baby friends today.

Auntie Ethel graciously volunteer to book a function room at her condo to host the party. Nice location too, cos it's very near to baby pool with SOoooo many fountains! It's supposed to ba a potluck party so Daddy cooked chicken curry.

We reached there at about 5pm. Just nice as the sun is not so hot. Baby Gillian & Ian had already finished their swim & were about to shower. Luckily, baby Keagan is still preparing to go into water.

Daddy accompanied me swimming as mummy felt it's too troublesome for her to jump into the pool. I wasn't scared at all! Haha! Must have been the training mummy gave me while bathing me in the tub. I accidentally drank some pool water, but I'm still alright. Didn't fuss at all.

Thereafter, daddy showered & feed me porridge. Still not enough though..the swim must be made me SOoo hungry. Mummy then fed me some nuggets, fishballs, beehoon & rice cake. Yum..yum.. I almost zonked out in the pram after all the activity, but Daddy had to pull me up for photo takings. I immediately became alert.

After playing around in the function room, it's finally time for lantern procession! One by one, our daddy & mummy hold our little hands & pretty lantern to parade around the pool. Haha! So funz!! Obiang music from our lanterns rang throughout the whole pool.

We stopped by the playground under the lightly-lit lamp & started playing with the slide in the dark! Woah! What an experience! All the babies were fighting to get onto the slide & preventing others from playing by sitting at the bottom of the slide. Haha.

The party ended at about 830pm with all the babies yawning away. What a GREAT party!! Best that I've attended so far!

Fun at Globetrotters

Mummy was so bored today so she brought me to Globetrotters at United Square for tea. We took a cab & reached there at 430pm. Auntie ylc & baby Caitz was late so we shopped aroud for awhile first.

Globetrotters was almost emty when we went in, except for 1 or 2 tables with diners. Mummy & Aunite ylc ordered some starter & fed us. Yum..yum..

There were some kids playing in the playroom & I kept turning my head to watch. Can't wait to get in. Mummy saw how impatient I was, so she brought me in although she hasn't finished eating.

There was a carer stationed in the playroom. Mummy thought she can just dump me in with the carer while she go enjoy her food. However, the rules states that kids below 2yrs of age has to be accompanied by adults. So no choice, mummy has to follow me in.

I removed my shoes & was given a sticker name tag to stick onto my top. Once in, I quickly crawl over to the kitchen playset. Hmm..not interesting enough, so I went to sit inside the toy car & started playing with the lego set. Wah! So interesting! I didn't wanna leave, but mummy insisted cos she hasn't finished her meal.

So both mummy & Autine ylc took turn to bring the baby into the playroom while the other jagar our belongings.

When I went into the playroom the 2nd time, I immediately set my eyes on the slide. Wah! I felt like I'm flying! I kept wanting to climb up & slide down until mummy was so tired that the carer took over while mummy rest at 1 corner. Haha..mummy, ur stamina is SOooo poor! Time to buck up!

Overall experience at Globetrotters:
It was FUNnnnnnzzzzz!! I LOVE the playroom! The carer was nice too! Even the serving staff are nice! They played with me while mummy was busy eating & chatting. Even went to blow up balloons for me & Caitz!

I wanna go there again!!
Mummy says I look like Princess Leia from StarWars.
Having fun...
