Xavier's 2nd Birthday Party at ExplorerKids

Auntie Michelle invited us to Zavier's 2nd birthday party today. It's held at the Explorerkid @ Pasir Ris Downtown East.

As usual, we're late cos I was still napping. Mummy had forgotten to bring socks so we had to queue up to purchase them at $2 each.

The party was held in a function room within the ExplorerKid. There were some snacks for the kids & a huge birthday cake & Thomas the Train agar agar. It was all very delicious.

We also get to ride on the mini ferris wheel for free too! After that party, we took our time to explore the ExplorerKid area. There's a playarea for kids 3yrs & below. Some cushion/foam gym instruments & a small ball pit. I liked playing in the ball pit & jumping down from high up (similar to jumping into the swimming pool). Mummy felt it's too dangerous & kept restricting from climbing up the ledge of the pit.

By the time we left for home, I was so so tired that I fell asleep immediately in the car.

Kongfu Panda

Mummy brought me to another movie today. It's called Kongfu Panda. We met auntie ylc & Caitlin at AMK Hub for the 1145am show, but it's hard to catch a cab during the morning so we bought tickets for the 1245pm show instead.

We reached AMK Hub at 12noon so we still have enough time for an early lunch at the nearby foodcourt. After lunch, we then proceeded to the Cathay theatre & queued up for popcorns & drinks. The usher forbidded us to bring our prams into the theatre but mummy persuaded him by promising to fold the pram up & kept in a corner so it'll not inconvenience others.

I was so engrossed through-out the whole show due to the fast pace, action packed movie. I love the kongfu stunts & funny dialogues. I was busy staring hard at the screen & eating popcorns at the same time so mummy had a good time relaxing in her seat. Towards the end of the show, I almost buried my whole face into the popcorns cos it's simply too delicious. Can I have more next time, mummy?

Lunch with CG Aunties

As usual, mummy brought me to have lunch with the CG Aunties. We decided to have lunch at thise Japanese restaurant at the basement of Centerpoint. Their bento sets are quite cheap..about $10 each while their ramen costs only about $8. However, the drinks are ex! 1 bottle of Yacult costs $2 (can buy 1 pack from supermart) & a glass of soft drinks costs $7.50, nearly as much as their set lunch.

After lunch, mummy took a cab to Phantom Models as auntie Ethel had referred me for an ad casting. Unfortunately, I fell asleep in the cab & mummy had to carry me up the stairs to the office. The lady was worried that I'll be cranky when I wake up so she asked mummy to wake me up & let me warm up first before we proceed to the studio for some photoshoots.

The minute I woke up, I started playing with the toys around the office. I have no problems warming up to the 'strange' place & strangers too...soon, it's time for the photoshoots & mummy used the toys to distract me & prompt me into making some facial expressions. It was quite fun actually! It all end in 15mins & we soon left. Unfortunately, it started raining & mummy had forgotten to bring umbrella. She had to push me in the rain as all the 'selfish' shop owners in Chinatown had pushed their trolleys & goods into the shelter, thereby blocking the whole passageway. Some shopowners even stared at us when mummy tried to push the pram through the narrow spacing along the passageway for fear that we'll damage their goods unintentionally.
