My 3rd Genting Trip!

We took the early morning coach so Mummy changed me into outside clothes the previous night. She woke me up at 6am in the morning calling my name repeatedly. I stirred abit but refused to wake up. Then she said 'Kaylyn, we're going kai kai.' Immediately, I sat up & shouted 'Okay, kai kai yeah!' Mummy dunno wherther to laugh or cry.

After cleaning & changing my diaper, we left the house at 615am. It's peak hour so we have trouble hailing a cab. Finally after 20mins, we managed to hail an empty cab. We reached Transtar Express Terminal at Lavendar St just before 7am. Luckily the coach leaves only at 715am so we still have time to laze around the 1st Class lounge. It was very comfy with leather seats & staff serving snacks & hot drinks while we wait for the bus to depart. We can even watch TV programmes on the flat screen TVs & read newspapers available in the lounge. The toilet in the lounge were also nice & clean. Mummy managed to feed me milk while they eat b'fast & drank hot tea in the lounge.

Soon after, the staff came to tag our luggage & pram to be stored in the luggage compartment in the bus. We then proceeded to board the bus while waiting for the other passangers to board too. It didn't take very long as the bus can only accomodate 18 pax. I was very excited & busy exploring the massage chair & checking out the games & movies available.

We passed Singapore & Malaysia customs without much trouble & the cabin crew started serving food once we passed Malaysia custom. B'fast consists of soon kuehs, curry puff, swiss rolls, spring roll, cakes & tea/coffee. It was delicious & the portion was big. Daddy shared his b'fast with me while Mummy was busy watching movie. Soon after, I fell asleep in mummy's arms & didn't wake up until we reached Genting Highlands 4hrs later. I woke up fully refreshed and immediately wanted to go on all the indoor amusement rides.

We checked into Resort Hotel & bought full day pass for the indoor amusement park.
This is my 3rd time going to Genting Highlands, Malaysia. I was only 13mths old when I first went to Genting but I couldn't really remember what happened during my previous trips. This time, I'm fully aware & really enjoy myself on all the rides. It's non-peak period so we didn't have to queue up for anything. We went on all the rides repeatedly until we had enough.

We were tired by the end of the day & daddy went off to the casino while mummy slept with me. The next morning after having b'fast, we went to watch 'Travel to the Center of the Earth' at the cinema. It was a great & entertaining show..best thing is, it's FREE! I was totally glued to the story & even screamed in horror as the heros encountered numerous monsters in the movie. Mummy had to cuddle & keep assuring me everything is fine.

After dinner, we went to catch Dreamz.http://www.genting.com.my/en/live_ent/2008/dreamz/default.htm. It's a magic show cum acrobatic acts cum dancing cum motorbike acrobactics cum wild animals appearances. I watched the whole show with my mouth wide open. The show lasted for 1.5hrs & ended at 1030pm. By then, I was too tired & soon fell asleep after reaching our hotel room.

The next day, we took the coach back to Singapore & this time it's faster as we reached Singapore in 5hrs time.

A Day @ Sentosa Beach

Mummy brought me to Sentosa beach for sand play today. We met Auntie ylc & jie jie Caitlin at Vivocity before heading to Giant to buy some snacks & a picnic mat.

We took the Sentosa tram @ level 4 of Vivocity & got off at the last station. It was bright & sunny when we reached there. We selected a spot under a couple of coconut trees & started to lay our picnic mat & sand toys.

I enjoyed playing with sand while mummy & auntie were busy munching & chitchatting away. Auntie ylc taught me how to bury her feet under the sand & I taught jie jie Caitlin to follow me, but it seems she's still abit afraid of sand.

We were there for awhile until mummy saw dark clouds approaching the beach from the sea. We quickly packed things up & headed to the station. Luckily it only started to rain after we reached the station. Phew!

Puzzles!

I LOVE PUZZLES & I really got them for my birthday presents!

Da Yi gave me a set of puzzles which comes in a set of 3. There are puzzles abt colours, shapes & numbers. I can match most of the puzzles for colours & shapes without much help from mummy but I dun really know much about the numbers.

CG aunties also gave me puzzles + a top for my birthday. I'm supposed to match different shapes, colour & size of the puzzles to the pictures. I really love playing with it & keep insisting mummy to play with me. I was so excited that I kept yelling hurray & jumping up with joy (literary!!). I can complete most of the pictures by myself & mummy is so proud of me.

Thank you everyone for your nice gifts! I really like them ALOT!!

My 2nd Birthday!

Mummy invited her families to our house today to celebrate my 2nd birthday. My actual birthday is supposed to be next weekend, but daddy has some other commitments on that day, so they bring forward the celebration to today.
Daddy cooked curry chicken, fried bee hoon, mixed fruit punch while mummy made salad for the dinner. Mummy also rented a play center specially for my birthday. It consists of a swing, a slide, a basketball net & soccer net. I had so much fun playing with Aisaac & Ashley at the activity center that we kept running around screaming.
