Latest Achievements

I can finally jump! After weeks on jumping on the trampoline at Busy Buddies class, I've managed to jump really well. I like jumping high up, esp when there's music.

Today, I also managed to finish a bowl of pasta all by myself! Mummy bought a set of self feeding spoon & fork for me, and it really make the job easier. Although mummy was fully prepared to clean up a huge mess after my meal, I didn't spill much at all...well, only a few grains of pasta. Haha..That's already a huge achievement, isn't it mummy?

Dinner @ Changi Industrial Estate

It's Good Friday today, so Mummy & Daddy brought me to the Baby Fair at Expo. It was very crowded as City Harvest Church is having Good Friday celebrations at Expo too...We couldn't find a parking lot as the carpark is full...there're even cars lining along the roadside all the way to Changi Industrial Park.

Daddy then dropped us off at Expo while he went searching for a parking lot. While there, we saw Auntie Geri with Baby Garrick on their way home & also Mummy's ex-classmate, Auntie Janna at the Mediacorp booth. Seemed like she's been working for Mediacorp for some time already. We had a short chat & we're off to catch any bargains in the Baby Fair.

However, there's nothing much this year. Most of the items are meant for newborn or 1st time mummies. Thus after walking around for 10mins, we've concluded that we're done with the visit.

We're supposed to meet Da Yi & Da Yi Zhang at the Baby Fair too, but they also had probs finding a carpark lot. Da Yi Zhang then decided to head for dinner at a fish head steamboat eatery at Changi Industrial Park instead. Daddy finally manged to find a carpark lot & meet us along the side of the road so that Da Yi Zhang can pick us up.

The fish head soup is DELICIOUS! I can't have enough of it. Even though I created a huge mess by insisting to self feed myself, Mummy wasn't angry at all. She feels that it's time for me to learn how to self feed.

After dinner, Daddy drop me off at Ah Mah's house to spend the night while he & mummy went pak tor. I must have been too tired & fell asleep in the car on the way.

Comments from Mummy: Something interesting happened today. I brought Kaylyn to the library & was reading her a book about engines. She loves the cars, buses & airplanes pictures in the book & she recognises the difference and able to point them out. When we flipped to a page where a boy was eating crackers from a bowl, Kay pretended to pick out the food from the picture & put it inside her mouth. She said 'eat' & also offered to feed me.

Last Day of Busy Buddies Term 1

Today is the last day of Term 1 & the teachers held a costume party to celebrate. Boy! It was so crowded! There were more than 10 kids even though on normal days, there are only about 4 kids in my class. I guess the more the merrier, so the teachers asked all the students to come on a specific day & timing.

Mummy dressed me up as a princess, complete with a tiara. Caitlyn has the best costume. She came in a beetlebug suit, complete with feelers.

There were limbo rock dance (the kids resorted to crawling under the pole, haha..), little chicken dance, snacks contributed by all the other mummies, ball play and even a bouncy castle.

I really enjoyed myself SO MUCH!

Fun at Busy Buddies

Here's what I did in Busy Buddies class this week...This week's theme is the Letter C. So we played with crocrodile puppet/cars/cow/cat/cotton wool/cup etc. Teacher drew cat faces on all our faces & we made cookie art with nutella chocolate, gummy bears sweets, M&Ms, raisins, cereals & chocolate toppings.

After Busy Buddies class today, Mummy & Auntie Yuen brought me & Caitlyn to Toyrus Vivocity. Caitlyn had earlier indicated she wanna sit in my pram. Auntie Yuen is so surprised cos this is the 1st time Caitlyn wanted to sit in the pram on her own. Mummy then suggested going to Toyrus as she bought my pram from there.

We walked to Clarke Quay MRT station & took NEL train to Harbourfront. Caitlyn didn't fuss at all until we reached Toyrus when she started getting distracted by all the toys. Unfortunately, my pram is out of stock so we had to abandon the idea of getting a new stroller for Caitlyn.

We then proceeded to Kim Gary Hong Kong Cafe for dinner. Something interesting happened while we were there. The waitress was taking our orders & mummy said thanked her for the service. Before the waitress could turn & walk away, I quickly shouted 'xie xie' to her. Everyone was caught off guard & stunned for a second. The waitress then smiled at me & said welcome. Mummy is extremely pleased with me because this is the 1st time I said thank you without prompting from anyone. Mummy feels that her insistence in teaching me say please/thank you/sorry had finally paid off.
