My Punishment..Sob...sob...

It's the school holidays & mummy decided to buy a few enrichment books for me, as recommended by Auntie Dsii.

I was very happy & decided to show off my skills once we reached home. However being me, I couldn't concentrate on the work & soon started to doodle on the book.

Mummy was very mad & told me she was going to mark my books. Those with good work will receive a tick whereas those written badly will be given a cross.

Being the stubborn me, I still think it's pretty funny & doesn't think too much about her comments. ...not until I saw SOoooo many crosses on my book that I started to cry. Bahhaaa...

KL & Genting Trip

It's the long weekend & mummy decided to organise a family trip to Msia.

Daddy is supposed to head up to KL for work so we tagged along for the trip. While daddy was away, mummy brought me around KL to shop & eat. It was very hot & I felt very tired walking for so long so I kept whinning at mummy to go back to our hotel room to rest.

By then, it was already 9pm so we slowly walked back to our hotel & took a nice warm bath. I was slipping into dreamland when daddy finally returned. We had an early night as we're heading up to Genting Highland the next day.

We reached First World Hotel at almost 330pm the next day & it was PACKED!. I guess it's the public holiday so everyone, including Malaysians & Singaporeans came here. We had to queue up to take a queue number to check-in our room. Even though we got a better room & the price is cheaper, mummy still prefer staying at Resort Hotel simply because she cannot stand the queues. We waited for another 1hr before we checked in. By then, it was 5pm. Time for dinner!

I was very exciting looking at all the indoor amusement rides & kept yelling that I wanted to play now. Mummy told me as the day is over, it'll be better if we buy the tickets for tomorrow instead. I was very nice & agreed to the plan. We had a nice dinner & went to catch a Shrek at the movie theatre.

It was 10pm by the time we reached our room & we were so exhausted that I refused to shower before bed. Mummy had to entice me with the bathtub before I willingly take a bath.

The next day, I woke up pretty early & run straight to the windows where I can see theview of the outdoor amusement park . I can hear people screaming away in excitment & bells ringing from the rides. I hurridly woke daddy & mummy up & we're soon on our way.

We bought our day tickets first before heading for breakfast. Even though it's still early, the place is already jam packed. We took our breakfast & hurried to the outdoor amusement park. Luckily there weren't much people at the outdoor park, so we took our own time taking all the rides.

Hey, outdoor rides are SO MUCH more exciting & fun than indoor rides! I LOVE it. When it's time for my nap, I don't even wanna leave but mummy had to drag me away. SIGH...

After our nap, it's almost time for dinner. Thereafter we caught a movie, Prince of Persia & later on decided to try out the Snow City. Before we can go in, we have to put on rental jackets, boots & gloves. But OMG! The rental boots were soggy & wet inside. And there was a stench coming out from the boots. It's DISGUSTING! Luckily, I'm allowed to wear my covered shoes in so I don't have to endure the smelly boots. Pity mummy & daddy.

As we were approaching the snow, the whole place smells like a BIG fridge. Daddy says the man-made snow looks dirty but we braved on. It was terribly cold inside, despite my jacket. I kept trembling & huddled myself together. I saw a slide inside & decided to take a ride. WEEeeee...down I come. Soaking my pants in the process.

I decided it's enough fun & urged mummy & daddy to leave. We had enough fun & it's soon time for bed. We have to check-out the room tomorrow so we had better sleep early tonight.

The next day, we left the hotel at 12noon & begin our journey down. We reached JB at around 33pm & shopped for a little. Then we had our dinner at Taman Sentosa before driving back to S'pore. There's no traffic at the customs so the drive back is very smooth.

We reached home at around 7pm & daddy soon left for work while mummy unpacked everything & prepared me for bed.

What A TRIP!

Kaylyn: Mummy, do u also have a baby inside your stomach?
Mummy: No dear...why do u ask tat?
Kaylyn: Mummy wants to puke in the car just now.
Mummy: Iwas car sick cos Daddy's car was jerking so violently just now.

Sentosa Resort World

Another visit to Sentosa for sand play again. Daddy & mummy prefer Sentosa beach compared to Pasir Ris beach & East Coast beach as the sand here is cleaner & finer. Amenities are also plentiful here.

This time round, we decided to bring Ye Ye & Nai Nai along as it's been donkey years since they last came to Sentosa. While we were busy building sand castles, Ye Ye & Nai Nai roamed around the beach & crossed the hanging bridge to visit the small island opposite the beach. I could even see Ye Ye & Nai Nai from where I was sitting.

We soon grew bored of building sand castles & decided to try our hand in frisbee. It was my 1st time playing frisbee but mummy reckened it's good enough. I can perfect the sport as time passes.

It's soon dinner time & we settled our dinner at Kofu foodcourt. We had a simple meal & later decided to check out Sentosa Resort World before it opens. We parked at the Convention Centre basement carpark & enter Hard Rock Hotel (they're linked). Although the Resort World is not opened yet, but Singaporeans are already flocking the hotel restuarants for good food. We walked past a buffet restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel & it was already filled with hungry patrons.

As the casino is not linked, we have to walk out of the Convention Centre & strolled a short distance away to Hotel Michael. The casino is situated at the basement of Hotel Michael & we have to take a few flight of escalators down. The LED displays & bright mirrors accompanied the long escalators before we finally reached the entrance of the casino. The displays are simply spectacular! See it to believe! Alas, the casino had not been granted the relevant permit from the authorities yet, so we couldn't enter. We could only take some videos of the entrance & it's surroundings.

There's another escalator that goes out of the casino which leds us to the water fountain & laser display show. It was good timing too as the techinicians were just going through a run of the laser fountain show so mummy managed to video it down.

On the other side of the fountain, is the entrance to the Universal Studio theme park. Alas, the theme park was not open yet too. Well, mummy promised to bring me to the theme park next time so I'm not too worried. :)

Ye Ye & Nai Nai soon grew tired of walking so we went back to the convention centre to get our car & drove home.

Sand Castles

I'm SOooo happy today cos mummy & daddy brought me to Sentosa beach for sand play & picnic in the evening.

Mummy & daddy didn't tell me anything until we reached Sentosa & I saw them taking my sand toys out of the car boot. "Mummy, are we going to play sand today?" I asked in disbelief & shouted in excitement when mummy said yes.

I immensed myself into sand play & ignored mummy when she asked me if I'm hungry. Mummy knows that I'm too distracted so she let me be.

When the sky darkens at around 7pm, we started to pack up & leave. I'm very reluctant to leave my sand castles behind so through-out the car journey, I kept asking mummy if my castles have already been destroyed by other people. Mummy had to keep assuring me that my castles are still intact as everyone has already went home.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Mummy & daddy has been talking so long abt our family trip to HK Disneyland & TODAY is finally THE DAY!

Daddy had a late night the day before so we all woke up late in the morning. While daddy was packing his luggage at the last minute, mummy had to quickly wake me up, wash & dress me & prepare for any last minutes things.

Amazingly, we managed to finish everything in 30mins & rushed to the airport. Mummy bought some snacks for our b'fast after check-in & we quickly rushed to the departure hall before the plane takes off without us.

We met up with Xian Yi & family in the aircraft, who were already sitting comfortably in their seats behind us.

This is the 1st time I'm travelling on an airplane & I'm really EXCITED. I chosed a seat next to the window & stared out intently during take-off. The view is really amazing!

Through-out the 3hrs journey, I busied myself with Cathay Pacific's goodie bag for kids (which contains lotsa stickers, colouring book, puppet etc), watching cartoon on TV & munching on biscuits. Mummy was glad that I didn't make any fuss during take-off & landing eventhough there was pressure difference & turbulence.

I made mummy & daddy laugh when I suddenly commented why they sounded like Mickey & Minnie whereas my own voice sounds like Donald Duck. Haha...

Once we landed at HK International airport, we made our way to the taxi stand for a ride to Disney Hollywood Hotel. It's a short 15mins ride & we admired the hilly views along the way. The weather was nice & breezy and everyone was in a good mood. The rooms were ready when we reached & I was really thrilled to see Mickey Mouse EVERYWHERE!

Not wanting to waste time, we quickly unpack our luggage & took a shuttle bus to Disneyland. We reached there at around 4pm & there wasn't much crowd. There wasn't any queues for the rides & theatre shows so we really did lotsa stuff before we had our dinner in the park. We had chinese cuisine for dinner & it's only so-so. Not really that fantastic.

Mid-way through our dinner, we heard 'bombing' sound & mummy quickly took me out to view the fireworks. It's both beautiful & frightening to me. I'm really scared of the loud sound but I couldn't turn my eyes away from the fireworks.

While we're on our way back to our hotel, I fell asleep in my pram & didn't wake up till the next morning.

The next day, I woke up super early at 7am & kept pestering mummy & daddy to bring me to the 'playground'. Mummy had a nice bubble bath with me & we're all famished by the time we're done. We quickly got dressed & headed downstairs to the hotel cafe for a simple b'fast of ham & cheese sandwiches, noodles & congee. The congee tasted really nice but I can't say much for the rest of the food.

Once Xiao Yi & family came down to join us for their bfast, we quickly headed to Disneyland once more. The hotel has a promotion where we can get 2-days park passes for the price of 1 & we're glad we're in time to enjoy this promotion. As we had recee the park the day before, we can plan our itinerary better today. We headed straight to the Disney Railway & took a nice ride to Fantasyland. As the crowd today was bigger as compared to yesterday, we took our own sweet time riding on all the rides & seeing all the shows, fufilling our hunger by eating lotsa popcorns which are sold in pushcarts found all over the park.

By the time we finished Fantasyland, Adventureland & Tomorrowland, it was time for lunch. The weather had turned colder today with very harsh winds & I kept complaining to mummy that my hands are cold, even though I had 3-layers of clothings on me. By the time we reached Royal Banquet, I had already dozed off in my pram. Thus mummy & daddy managed to have a nice leisurely lunch before I wake up.

I had a small accident today when I suddenly pee in my pants. Mummy didn't brought any extra clothings for me so she had no choice but to purchase new clothings & undies for me from the souvenier shop. The prices there are really outrageous! Mummy had originally wanted to buy only a bottom for me but the shop only carries tops & dresses. In the end, mummy bought a SGD$30 tennis dress & a SGD$30 pack of undies. OMG! The undies costs almost the same as the dress!

I was REALLY happy to be able to wear new clothes & mummy suspects if it was my motive all along. Ha! After lunch, we headed to our favourite rides & retook them all over again. I'm sad that I couldn't take the 2 rides that are restricted to kids of certain height but mummy assured me that we'll come here again next time when I'm older.

After catching the fireworks at night, we took the MTR to Sunny Bay & changed another train to Citygate. The MTR train has windows shaped like Mickey & the deco in the cabins are all disney-related. There's an outlet mall above the Citygate station so after finishing our Mac dinner, we did some last minute shopping. Xiao Yi & family were too tired to continue with the shopping trip so they left for hotel earlier while we ventured around the mall till I nagged at mummy & daddy to head 'home'. Again, I fell asleep in the cab on the way back till the next morning.

The next day, we didn't have anything planned so we took a leisurely long b'fast at the hotel cafe before heading outside to take some hols pixs. Afterwards, mummy brought me to this toy shop in the hotel where kids can do arts & crafts activities, play & read books for free. Daddy helped me out with my colourings in the toy shop while mummy did some last minute shopping in the hotel souvenier shop. Soon, Xiao Yi & family joined us & we while our time away before it's time to head to the airport.

The flight back home was uneventful although I kept nagging at mummy & daddy that I want to go back to 'Mickey's house' again.

Doulus

Mummy heard tat the Doulus ship will be docking at Vivocity for awhile so she specially arranged a trip with Da Yi & Da Yi Zhang to check it out. Too bad Daddy had a golf game in Bintan so he can't join us. Nevertheless, he still managed to have b'fast with us before he left.

Doulos was purchased in 1977 by GBA Ships e.V. (previously known as Good Books for All), a private, non-profit, charitable organisation registered in Germany.

With stops in over 500 ports of call, this unique ship has visited more than 100 countries in including Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and many island nations. Doulos is recognised in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's oldest active ocean-going passenger ship.

There's a bookstore onboard Doulus & we all had fun browing through the wide variety of books & checking out the old ship.

Mummy's Fav Artwork

This is mummy's fav piece of artwork done by Yours Truly...

It's been sometime since Mummy updated my blog. She's been really busy with work & I'm also busy adjusting to my new school life & spending most of my waking hours at Ah Mah's hse.

Now that Mummy has been confirmed for her job, she can finally relax abit and took leave to spend some quality time with me during this 1-wk break.

We went to Vivo City with Ah Mah for tim sum @ Restaurant 88 & Da Yi joined us soon after. It was a nice brunch but I don't really fancy the taste. I only ate fried carrot cake towards the end of the meal. Soon after, I doze off in my pram while mummy & all shopped around, having a gd time. I took a 1.5hr nap & woke up just in time for a visit to Toyrus. I had lotsa fun playing with playdoh @ En Qi's hse the previous day so mummy decided to buy me one today. Mummy chosed the most reasonably priced set for me & I can hardly wait to play them.

I was feeling famished by the time we paid for our purchases so we all headed to Ya Kun @ Harbourfront & mummy ordered cheesy french toasts for me. I thought it was really yummy but Da Yi don't fancy it at all. Mummy was just happy that I finished all the toasts & didn't waste any food. I ran around all over the plc, popping into Gymboree to watch other kids playing with the gym equipements & sitting in all the kiddy rides (without coin inserted, of course).

Next, we proceeded back to Restaurant 88 for dinner. Ah Gong, Da Yi Zhang & Kai Kai joined us just in time. Restaurant 88 are having a promotion where each pax can order a set dinner (incls rice, soup, veg, dessert & choice of dish) for just $7.50/$9.50. We ordered cod fish, roasted duck, braised pork & seasonal veg and the bill comes up to abt $50 for 5 pax. I'm so happy seeing Kai Kai that I insisted on sitting near him & we enjoyed chasing after each other.

Mummy asked me if I enjoyed myself today & I said 'Yes, thank you mummy. I love you.' Mummy is so touched.

My 3rd Birthday!

It's my 3rd BIRTHDAY!! Yipee!

I had an earlier celebration on Saturday with at Nai Nai's hse. Xiao Gu & family were sick so they couldn't join us. Nevertheless, Xiao Gu still took the effort to bake a birthday cake for me. It was shaped as a castle & it even had a princess & her pet cat!

The next day, mummy invited her family to our house for another round of celebration. This time, mummy ordered a Dora agar agar cake for me. Everyone else thought the cake is shaped after me. Haha...do I look like Dora? I had a good time eating all the nice food that daddy cooked & playing with Aissac kor kor & Ashley Jie jie.

Monday was a school day and Mummy surprises me with a birthday cake at my school! All my classmates were distracted when mummy was busy setting up the cake & Ms Irene had to shout for us to pay attention. Check out the pixs below...
