This time round, we decided to bring Ye Ye & Nai Nai along as it's been donkey years since they last came to Sentosa. While we were busy building sand castles, Ye Ye & Nai Nai roamed around the beach & crossed the hanging bridge to visit the small island opposite the beach. I could even see Ye Ye & Nai Nai from where I was sitting.
We soon grew bored of building sand castles & decided to try our hand in frisbee. It was my 1st time playing frisbee but mummy reckened it's good enough. I can perfect the sport as time passes.
It's soon dinner time & we settled our dinner at Kofu foodcourt. We had a simple meal & later decided to check out Sentosa Resort World before it opens. We parked at the Convention Centre basement carpark & enter Hard Rock Hotel (they're linked). Although the Resort World is not opened yet, but Singaporeans are already flocking the hotel restuarants for good food. We walked past a buffet restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel & it was already filled with hungry patrons.
As the casino is not linked, we have to walk out of the Convention Centre & strolled a short distance away to Hotel Michael. The casino is situated at the basement of Hotel Michael & we have to take a few flight of escalators down. The LED displays & bright mirrors accompanied the long escalators before we finally reached the entrance of the casino. The displays are simply spectacular! See it to believe! Alas, the casino had not been granted the relevant permit from the authorities yet, so we couldn't enter. We could only take some videos of the entrance & it's surroundings.
There's another escalator that goes out of the casino which leds us to the water fountain & laser display show. It was good timing too as the techinicians were just going through a run of the laser fountain show so mummy managed to video it down.
On the other side of the fountain, is the entrance to the Universal Studio theme park. Alas, the theme park was not open yet too. Well, mummy promised to bring me to the theme park next time so I'm not too worried. :)
Ye Ye & Nai Nai soon grew tired of walking so we went back to the convention centre to get our car & drove home.
